Community Partnerships

As a true New Zealand company, Todd Energy is committed to active involvement in the local communities it operates in.

Along with injecting millions of dollars into communities and regional economies each year through employment and using locally based suppliers where possible, we also invest directly in community based initiatives with the aim to benefit the social well-being of the people living and visiting the region.

Todd Energy is proud to be major Event Partner of the WOMAD (World of Music, Arts & Dance) International Festival which takes place in New Plymouth. Attracting quality international acts, WOMAD continues to be a huge draw-card for tourists and visitors to the region and we are very proud to be involved with such a vibrant and successful event.

In recognition of the company's long-term involvement and significant commercial investments in the Taranaki region, Todd Energy is the major sponsor of the Todd Energy Aquatic Centre and also supports the Todd Energy Raceway in New Plymouth.

In addition to supporting important events and facilities, Todd Energy retail companies also invest in the support of young people and education with valuable programmes such as Books in Homes, Truant-line, The Life Education Trust and Road Safety education all benefiting from Todd Energy's backing. Support of these programmes is complemented by involvement in a raft of school based initiatives including sports, prize-givings and funding school equipment to make a tangible difference in the communities in which Todd Energy operates.

This support extends further than young people and schools with regional sponsorship reflecting the needs of the local community. For example in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, Todd Energy retail business, Bay of Plenty Energy is the Cornerstone sponsor of the supports facilities like the Bay of Plenty Energy Cancer Centre, and supports sports events such as Toi's Challenge, as well as business groups, excellence awards and the EBOP Hospice along with multiple other causes every year.
