Sustainability

At Todd Energy our focus is on providing affordable and reliable energy to all New Zealanders as we transition to a low emissions economy.

The Climate Change Commission expects natural gas to play an essential role in supporting the transition to renewable energy and providing secure energy supply at least until 2050.

As a leading New Zealand producer of natural gas, we know Todd Energy has a key role to play in powering our country’s homes and workplaces, and we expect to keep investing in natural gas production while at the same time reducing our emissions intensity, being smarter about how we use energy and using greener sources.

You can find out more about the measures we’re implementing on our journey to a low emissions future in our fact sheet.
